Freetrain V2
The V2 is the vest most runners should start with. It carries your phone flat against your sternum, where it doesn't bounce or swing, and the pocket flips down so you can read the screen without taking it out.
Best for: 5K & 10K, Daily runs, Gym-to-run commutes
Freetrain Reflective V2
Everything that makes the V2 good, finished in reflective material that lights up in car headlights. If you run on roads before sunrise or after work in winter, this is the version to get.
Best for: Night & early-morning runs, Winter road running, Urban routes
Freetrain Hydro 2
The Hydro 2 keeps the central phone pocket and adds holders for two soft flasks on the front. It's the vest for long Sunday runs, marathon blocks and summer, when carrying water stops being optional.
Best for: Half & full marathon training, Long runs over 75 minutes, Hot weather
Freetrain Reflective Hydro 2
The Hydro 2 in reflective material. Spring marathons mean long runs through January and February, often starting in the dark — this covers water, phone and visibility in one vest.
Best for: Winter marathon training, Long runs in the dark, Commuting by foot
Freetrain Ultra 1 & Pacer
The Ultra 1 and the Pacer are the stripped-back end of the range: lighter, lower-profile carriers for racing and fast sessions, when you want your phone with you for tracking or safety but nothing else.
Best for: Race day, Parkrun & PB attempts, Runners who want the minimum
